HCCRI is proud to be an educational simulation and an academic competition. Hence, to honour and recognise delegates who have gone above and beyond in their preparations and contributions, the academic staff of HCCRI will award exceptional delegates who have excelled in the conference with the following awards.

Individual Awards

  • Best Delegate
  • Outstanding Delegate
  • Honourable Mention
  • Best Position Paper

Only delegates who submit their position papers and attend at least five out of seven committee sessions will be considered for individual awards. The number of individual awards will vary between councils and are given out on a discretionary basis.

  • Creative and Feasible Solutions
  • Negotiation and Consensus-Building
  • Communication and Rhetoric
  • Resolution Drafting
  • Use of Procedure
  • Conduct

This set of criteria is by no means exhaustive or all-encompassing. The academic staff of HCCRI will ensure a holistic and fair assessment of each delegate and all awards decisions made will be final.

Only schools or delegations with at least 8 delegates will be considered for delegation awards.
